Birthday Luncheon: Chairperson - Elizabeth Champion
This group meetson different days of the month at 11:00 am. We celebrate the birthdays for that month by going out to lunch together. Everyone is welcome to come every month for the Dutch treat lunch. If you know of a place to celebrate, please contact the Chairperson.
Food, Fun & Friends: Chairperson - Deede Smith
This group meets every 1st Friday of the month at 11:30 am at a member's home. Members take turns hosting and deciding on which category to have, Pot Luck, Salads, Appetizers, Soups, Sides or at a particular restaurant. If you would like to host this event, please contact the Chairperson.
Book Club: Chairperson - Sue Kuzma
The group meets every 2nd Monday of the month at 10:00 am at the Millbrook Library.
Game Day: Chairperson - Diane Weyer
This group meets every Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm til around 4:00 pm at the Gillespie Senior Center on Doster Ave. in downtown Prattville. They normally play games such as Canasta, Phase 10, Mexican Train Dominoes, etc. Bring your own beverage. If you have a favorite game you would like to play, please contact the Chairperson.
Hand, Knee & Foot: Chairperson - Diane Weyer
This group meets every Monday beginning at 10:00 am. in a private room in the back of the Millbrook Senior Center. This is a new activity. The purpose of having a second day was for some people the timing is better gives everyone a chance to play different games or learn new ones. If you have a favorite game you would like to play, please contact the Chairperson.
Trips & Tours: Chairperson - Nancy Schrull
This group is open to suggestions for day trips, but not limited to.
They generally meet in a parking lot to carpool, then visit interesting places.
If you have a place you think would be interesting to visit, please contact the
Chairperson. Spouses and friends are also invited.
Plays & Events: Chairperson - Elizabeth Champion
This group attends various plays in Millbrook, Prattville and Wetumpka. There may be other concerts or programs to see during the year. We frequently go to dinner before going to the plays. Spouses and friends are invited. If you know of a play or event that you would like to go see, please contact the Chairperson.
Chat & Craft: Chairperson - Patricia Hunter
This group meets every Tuesday 10:30 am. They meet at the Millbrook Library. Everyone is invited. If you do not have a craft to do, just come for the chat part. If you can attend, please contact the chairperson.
Junkin': Chairperson - Caroline Tait
This group goes to Flea Markets, Estate Sales, Antique Stores, etc. Times and dates TBA. If you see something you would be interested in please contact the chairperson.
Chick Flicks: Chairperson -
This group goes to the AMC theatre on $5.00 Tuesdays in Prattville. The movie schedule comes out on Friday and Sherrie will email you the chosen movie and start time to meet at the theatre. If more than on good movie, we can break up into groups and attend your choice. Go online to sign up for AMC STUBS for more discounts.
Dinner Out: Chairperson - Sarah Thomas
This group goes to the various restaurants in the local area. Spouses and signifcant others are invited to come with.
Bunko: Chairperson - Jenell Montgomery
This group meets meets monthly, first Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in homes.
